Leave it to my team to wait for me to write my About Me. I’ll throw caution to the wind in hopes that perhaps they will too (but I throw like a girl, so we’ll see how well this actually works).
I’m super awkward…we’ll start with that.
Actually, that’s pretty self-explanatory. You’ll see. My life is just one big ball of awkward…mainly because I don’t know how to keep my big mouth shut. I’m super impatient, impulsive and impervious to common sense, so you do the math. I’m also a huge geek (albeit, I hope, the slightly more endearing and less creepy kind). These things will never change.
Things that do change? Well, pretty much my entire life, every few years. For the first time in a long time, I find myself single, yet also with something else to occupy my time. Before, say, a month ago, I had pretty much no idea what I liked, what I was good at, nor what I wanted to do with my life - except that I was pretty damn good at being a serial monogamist, and without much else to occupy my time, those relationships pretty much defined me. And now…not so much. But It’s okay, because I’ve got me a pretty damn awesome gig going on here (read: a job that I love), and so perhaps I can take it a bit easier with that whole “relationship” business. Perhaps you, dear readers, might even be lucky enough to watch me stumble through my last few months of college, making incessant, sarcastic fun of my friends, their relationships, and the ridiculous related written work that permeates the internet - as if I know any better (by the way, I sure as hell don’t). You should be excited. Because when I stumble, I faceplant. And it is always entertaining. (And *awkward*).
